When is cyber-stalking OK? When a celeb does it, of course…

Very odd today watching people on Twitter praising a boxer for taking on a Twitter troll by getting his followers to help track the guy down.

It is only a few days ago that another sportsman, Michael Owen, was roundly criticised for taking on a Twitter troll.

And the reaction when Nick Griffin of the BNP tried to direct his followers to someone’s home address was very, very different indeed.

As the joke goes, the new definition of “troll” is the less famous of two people arguing on Twitter.
