Tom is also notable for doing a harder career pivot than me. I went from drawing* how I imagined news websites should look like, to doing the words on them. He went from being a magazine editor and head of digital at the Times to making lovely-looking little hardware module synthesizers as Music Thing Modular. He shows some of them off on his Instagram.
