Stuart O’Connor
by Martin Belam, May 17, 2021 I was very sorry to hear that Stuart O’Connor, who was known as ScreenjabberStu on Twitter, has passed away in Australia.
He was a colleague of mine who worked on the Guardian’s tech, media & games coverage in the early 2010s and was fanatical about movies. He used to help me out with my bits on the Inside The Guardian blog & getting our developers published on the site talking about their work.
Such was his passion for movies that Mark Kermode has paid public tribute, describing Stuart as “lively and positive presence at screenings – funny and sharp, but also friendly and welcoming”. Rest well.
